Donna Marie Miller, author of Texas Secessionists Standoff: The 1997 Republic of Texas “War,” will be part of a discussion panel about the 1997 standoff. This event commemorates the 26th anniversary of the standoff in the Davis Mountains between 300 law enforcement agents and the anti-government group that called itself the Republic of Texas (ROT) militia. Special guests: Joe Rowe who was taken hostage by ROT militia members and former Texas Rangers, Jess Malone and David Duncan.

Books will be available for sale at the Museum.
